Maybeline Dream Satin Skin Foundation First Impression
Hello everyone!
Maybeline released a new foundation called Maybeline Dream Satin Skin Foundation.
I bought this from PCX Alabang Town Center for a price of Php399,00. This new beauty line of Maybeline also has a Dream Liquid Foundation which cost Php499.00. However I opt to purchase the foundation first.
I tested this at the mall. The way I do it is by drawing a line in my jawline area and see if the product disappears. If it did then that is the right color for your skin.
When I got home I was surprised that the color is in Sand Beige. I usually opt for natural or nude beige. I just shake off the pissed attitude and told myself to just try it.
This is the back of the box. As per how Maybeline said, this is the answer to every woman's dream of having a satin, airbrush finish look.
Apologies for this photo. I was in a rush when I took them all.
Back of the case.
I was shocked that this one is in dark tone. Anyway... its okay.
This foundation can be applied using a dry or wet sponge since it is a two-way cake. It covers and conceals blemishes and imperfections in a lightweight formula. It also has a long-lasting oil control. This is perfect for Oily skin types.
Experience:
This powder is really lightweight. I just dabbed the sponge all over my face and neck. It quickly conceals every blemishes but not in full coverage.
Pros
1. It is a two-way cake so we can use it using a wet or dry sponge.
2. It is very lightweight.
3. It does not change color when applied to face.
4. It comes in a classy packaging.
5. It is affordable.
Cons
1. The foundation does not blend into the skin,
2. The foundation separates itself from my skin whenever my face becomes sweaty. It looks like a white powder was dropped to my face.
Rating: 4/5
I still recommend this to other girls. I think this will work well to those with combination skin type.
